Breaking: Buhari Returns to Nigeria After Medical Check-up in London

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria from London after two weeks Medical check-up.

Buhari travelled to London for medical check-up on March 30, 2021 and promised to come back middle of April.The president returned to Abuja on Thursday and was received by security chiefs and some members of his cabinet at the Abuja airport.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had said that the president would proceed to London on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 for a routine medical check-up.

Adesina stated that the president would be back from the medical check-up in the second week of April.

The statement had read: “President Muhammadu Buhari proceeds to London, the United Kingdom, Tuesday March 30, 2021, for a routine medical check-up.

“He is due back in the country during the second week of April, 2021.”

The last time Buhari travelled out of the country was in April 2019 for medical check-up in the UK.

He returned to the country in May of that year.

Unknown Gunmen Kill Ebubeagu Commander, 2 APC Supporters, Injure 2 In Ebonyi

Unknown gunmen, on Saturday morning, killed the Ebubeagu Security Network Commander of Ogboji Ward in Ezza North local government Area of Ebonyi State, Mr. Charles Nwankwo. According to Leadership , the gunmen invaded his house at Ogboji community at about 1am and shot him dead and made away with his motorcycle and Pump Action gun. It was also gathered that unknown gunmen earlier on Friday evening invaded Mkpuma Akataka in Izzi local government area of the State where members and supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) were holding their consultative meeting and opened fire on them. It was revealed that two persons were killed by the gunmen while two others sustained different degrees of gunshot injuries. Two Men Who Murdered Popular Benue Catholic Priest To Die By Hanging
