The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has advised Nigerians not to allow money to determine
the choice of whom to vote during elections.
National Vice Chairman, South East region of the party, Senator Ebenezer Ikeyina, who gave the advice On Friday during the maiden edition of the SDP Enugu State Chapter Summit and public reading of the Party’s Manifesto, held in Enugu, said the era when politics was seen as an opportunity to steal money.
He said however, if electorate decide to collect money, they should vote for the right candidate, adding that Nigeria is a country, which we should all be proud of.
Speaking earlier, the state chairman of the SDP, Barrister John Nwobodo noted that SDP, has grown bigger and better with great promise of leading Nigeria out of the woods in 2019.
"2019 should not be dictated by money and propaganda but by ideas, it should not be about a government trying hard to justify its own by blaming others before them who failed,” he said.
